Hi,
I'm a senior in high school and am under L2 dependent visa under my mom (L1-A).
I have applied for a change of status (I-539) to move to an F1 visa since I got a full ride to a university near me, but there is an issue with whether I should include my name in extension or not.
My mother's L1-A is expiring in October 2020, and since my COS is already applied and in processing I do not know if I should include my name under the L visa extension or not. According to the timeline, the COS should get processed before this time (I applied in January), but the whole timing is overlapped and I am unsure what to do. Please advise.
