  • L2 visa on court marriage

I was to get married in April 2020 however our marriage has been shifted to Nov 2020. My issue is that I travel to US as soon as flights start( have received L1A stamp). Can my wife apply for an L2 in July after we get a court marriage done due to Covid. What alternate do you suggest? We have our roka pictures which was a grand function.

As long as you can provide a valid marriage certificate & some other documents showing your status, she can apply for L2 visa alone.

But you'll need to wait for embassies to open & start issuing visas.

I think that on such issues, you need to turn to a person who understands the law, such as a lawyer, but it is better not to the usual but to a professional, as he is likely to help you exactly. A friend of mine had a problem with the law enforcement agencies, for which he had to turn to the defenders of the law. He went to New Brunswick Criminal Attorneys because they are considered the best in our state and that is why my friend went to them. These attorneys proved to be real pros, destroying the arguments of the opponents, so my friend did not go to jail. That's why it's better to turn to proven professionals.
