  • Can i respond to my L1-B individual RFE little late

My company applied for my L1-B individual extension recently with USCIS and in the month of April 24 i received my RFE. Normal due date to respond to my RFE is July 10/2020 but since i received my RFE during Covid-19, USCIS said we can take extra 60 days to respond to my RFE. This will make my due date from July 10/2020 to September 10/2020. My question is can i i responds to my RFE by August month ? will that cause any issues with my L1 visa. Basically i thought of using that 60 days given by USCIS. If i take that extra days will it cause any issues normally everyone in my company file their response before they due date. If i reply by August is that too late should i respond little early. Need your help

You have 60 days from the “due by” date on the RFE to respond. This flexibility has been provided for all RFEs issued from March 01 - May 01
If you need this extra time, use it, otherwise don’t.
Using this flexibility won’t adversely affect your application
