Change of visa category with extension of stay

Hi members,

This forum is always helpful for everyone. So i have a question regarding the visa status.

My husband was on L1b but now his Company applied for L1A along with the extension of stay i.e. I-539.

How this application would be taken ? Means on the basis of petition filed I-129 or application of extension?

Guess your husband's company filed only I129 for him & I539 for you & kids (if any).

I129 approval comes with a new I94 for him & I539 approval will come with new I94 for you.
