L2 to H1 Transfer ,timeline and stamping

Hi Everyone,

Currently I am on L2 visa and approved EAD. I am looking for job, one employer ready to hire nd process H1 next year 2021.
I would like to get more information on below-
1.in which month H1 petition get filed?
2.Do I have to apply for Change of status? In which month?
3.Will stamping be required in general scenario (without COS)?

1.in which month H1 petition get filed?

You file for new H1 in Mar/April every year.

2.Do I have to apply for Change of status? In which month?

Once your H1 petition is approved, then you can switch from L2 to H1.

3.Will stamping be required in general scenario (without COS)?

No, if you are already in USA.
