L1-A Visa Extension - New Proclamation!

Hello All

My spouse(L1-A) and me(L-2 EAD) visas. After the new proclamation announced yesterday. I was not able to find answers on our visa extension due next month will this order affect people like us already in the USA and working? We will apply for an L1 visa extension next month.

No, it doesn't affect you. 1) It doesn't apply to anyone who is currently in the US. 2) It affects entry, not extension of status or change of status.

Hey, I am in the same situation and also trying to figure this out.
I saw this reddit thread that shows that the Department of State is declining all visa extensions even though the Executive Order does not specifically say that renewals are affected.
Please let me know if anyone has any other information.
