  • I94 validity for dependents

    Hi all,

I am already in USA and I am applying for extending my L1A & L2 for my dependents. With this extension; I would consume my entire 7years validity of L1A plus some time I have spent outside USA.

My dependents have always stayed with me in USA since beginning. But they did not travel with me outside USA for a few trips. So their number of days in USA are currently more than mine by a few weeks. When we extend our visas; would their I-94 validity be matched with my i94 validity or their i94 will expire slightly earlier as per their duration in USA?

In other words; the additional duration I would claim for travels outside USA; would that be also given to my dependents even if they did not travel outside USA?

    Thanks & Regards.

The 7 year limitation is for L1A visa holder only, not for L2.
