    L1 B Question

    I was in L1 B Individual from 2006 Sep to 2009 May. Later I came back in L1 B Blanket in 2009 Sep. My current visa is valid till 2012 July. By that time I am maxing out my time in L1 B. Do I need to go for H 1 or continue stay in L1 B till 2012 July. Please clarify. Thanks in advance!

    Max time in L1 is 5 year. It is your responsibility to make sure you don't overstay. Advisable to apply for H1B is you want to continue to work for an additional 1 more year.
