  • L1 Visa - Second time process

    Hello Experts,

I have one of my cousine who is already travelled on L1B in the year 2007 and stayed for 13 months and then he left company, where the Visa has been cancelled after the exit.

Now he is about to apply for the L1 again due to his project requirement!

But due to an issue with one of his earlier employer (4 Employers back to the present employer), he is not claiming that experience this time! Will this cause any issue? or the Immigration people will check only I129 and I-94 and the credit history to issue the Visa.

Also how many years of validity will be given if he applies for the second time?

Many thanks for the clarifications and help.

    Thanks

No issues if you drop your experience.

Fresh L1B for 3 years. Extn for another 2 yrs.

So it means that there will not be any issue with the document discrepancy compared to the earlier Application?

This will be really a good news if they ignore if the candidate is reducing the number of years of exp.

As the Credit History is well maintained already, so I believe that they will consider Only I-129 and I-94 forms in this case and the Visa processing time also less in this case right?

      Kindly help.

      Thanks

Visa processing time is same for any visa, any number of times.
After approval, it takes about a week to get visa and passport.
