L1B - Extension in RFE- 240 Days ending soon

Dear Friends/Experts,

I have filed my L1-B Extension Nov 2019 in regular and got an RFE status on Aug 06 2020. Now my attorney is preparing the RFE documents and planning to respond to RFE most probably in regular and my case is not yet moved to premium.

My 240 days period end on Oct 12 2020. So is this is a risk ,if i am not moving my case to premium and responding to RFE? will there be an issue if i dont get any final result by /before 240 days ends ? can i continue in US and working stating that my case is still pending with USCIS .

Can stay until a decision is made, but cannot work beyond 240 days without an approval for the extension.
