I-129 copy from previous employer

Hi,

I have a L1 visa from my previous employer that was never used. Now, my current employer wants to file my L1 petition and they have asked me to submit a copy of my previous I-129. I am having trouble trying to get the previous I-129. My question is, is it a mandatory requirement to submit the previous I-129?

Thanks for the reply. I also feel the same. However, the visa desk in my company is insisting for the old I-129. Not sure how to convince them.
