L1 Validity and extension

Dear all,

I travelled to USA in L1B during the year 2012 and later did conversion to L1A in 2015. I had returned to India on April 2018. I need to understand:

• How many years of L1A validity still there if in case I am applying for L1A extension https://snaptube.cam/https://9apps.cam/
• Do I need to apply with the same client if applying for extension or can be different client (Note: I am still with the same employer in India

You have total 7 years of stay - so April 2018 minus 2012 minus whatever time you've stayed outside USA during that period.

Doesn't matter - as long as your employer is same.

On the other note, since you already stayed outside USA (after 2018) - you can apply for fresh L1A & can get full 7 years of stay on your new L1A.

You have been outside the US for more than 1 year- Why are you trying to get an “extension”. You are now eligible for full 7 years of L-1A again.
