Hi ,

My L1B visa expires on 31st July 2010 and also my I94 expires on the same day, My employer just filed for extension , but i have few clarifications:

1.Since my employer filed for extension in regular processing , How many days will it take for USICS to give the result?


2.If i get an RFE can i stay till the final result is out , I am asking this because my Visa might have expired when i get an RFE.


3. If Visa is Denied , when should i leave the country as my visa expires on 31st july.

>>> You can. If the RFE gets cleared and if you get the extension, then you are all good. If the extension is denied, then your stay past your I-94 expiry (July 31st) will be considered illegal and you may have issues when you attend the visa interview the next time.

3. If Visa is Denied , when should i leave the country as my visa expires on 31st july.
>>> Immediately. Any time spent after I-94 expiry will be considered as illegal stay. When you 6 months in advance to apply for the extension before your current I-94 expiry, why would you want to wait until the last minute?
