L2 and EAD Application in process

Hi, Due to family urgency, I am planning to travel to India. My L2 and EAD extension have been filed in Sep'20. Since the processing time is long, can I enter US after 6-8 weeks under B1/B2 VISA? Please note, I have B1/B2 until 2027 but no L2 VISA stamped.

At the port of entry, you'll be asked for your reason for the visit - if you mention that you want to switch to L2 once you are inside, then they will send you back.

However, you can certainly visit USA on your existing B1 & leave USA before your I94 expiry, get your L2 stamped & re-enter.
