HI All
its been going on a while now but a quick bit of background
My employer started my visa process to move from the UK to USA. We filled for I-129 (L1-A). It went through many stages of RFI, RFE followed by a NOID and refusal in February this year. We applied for appeal to this decision. In start of october, we had a response form AAO which was a non-precedent decision. Which they dis-agreed with the decision on pretty much all the points from the originating office.
After this it said the letter and original case was being transferred back to the originating office on the 19th of October .
After this the on-line status stated "Request for additional evidence was sent" and we need to respond by December 5th.
A day later the on-line status changed to "my case was reopened"
It says we opened your form I-129 petition and mailed you a notice. If you do not receive your re-opening notice by December 23rd go to www.uscis.gov......
So my question, has anyone else had this experience and does case "re opened" now means its more likely to be approved. why did the case status on-line change quickly.
We haven't received any letters yet, but I've put my life on hold for the last year or more so you can understand why i am eager to know
