Error while taking visa appointment|Please Help

Dear All,

I was taking visa apointment for me and my husband for L1 & L2 visa stamping.

While completing the deatils for my husband I errorneously answered yes to the question has your visa been denied twice in the last 12 months. While my husbands B1 visa was rejected only once in Aug 2009. What should I do? cancel the appointment and take it again or explain to the VO verbally. Please let me know.

I only don't want to cancel in view of some last minute emergency etc. due to which I may have to cancel the appointment. We are allowed to cancel the appointmentt only once. I spoke on VFS helpline, they said it was my choice, I could explain to the VO verbally. Please suggest.

I am really worried. Please provide your suggestion. Is it advisable to go as is or make the to take the appointment again. Will appreciate your help.

Thank you Milda for responding. I had spoken to VFS helpline they said it was my choice. I can either cancel or go ahead and explan to the VO verbally.

I chose to cancel considering that it is an important question and that's why it is being asked at the time of taking the appointment. I did not want to take any chances.

Will post my experience after the interview.
