L1B Intracompany Re-employment with previous emplyer

Hello,

I hold a L1B visa which is valid till 2022 but I have quit my job with the sponsor (previous employer) for my L1B.
Need to check if my previous employer can hire me back in the US directly? The visa was issued in India.
