L-2 Visa Extension & EAD

I am on L-2 Visa and my I-94 is expiring on 04-MAR-2021. I am going to file extension (I-539) before my I-94 expiry date. However, my EAD is valid till 09-FEB-2022. EAD being beyond my L2 visa status, Can I work even after the I-94 expiry date if I file the extension (I-539) before my I-94 expires?

Background:
I have applied EAD under (a)(18).
I left US on 09-JAN-2020 when my application for EAD was still in process.
The initial admit until date on I-94 is 29-AUG-2022 during my application for EAD.
I received my EAD while I am outside US with expiration date of 09-FEB-2022 as per the initial admit until date on I-94(29-AUG-2022).
When I re-entered US on 20-JUN-2020, the admit until date is corrected to 03-MAR-2021.

On L-2 Visa it says:
Visa Expiration Date: 04-MAR-2023
PED: 04-MAR-2021

Yes, I think you definitely can work till 09-FEB-2022 with your current EAD. You could renew it six months before expiration.

Yes, you can continue to stay & work on your valid EAD & pending extension.
