L1B dates available but unable to book

I can see L1B visa dates on the site with seat availability as well. But every time I select a date and slot in Chennai, on the next page it says that dates not available and I need to select another date. I tried multiple times, I didn't get a slot but they blocked my account for 72 hours. Now I have tried multiple times again but the same thing pops up. Any idea what's wrong?

There is a limit of number of times you can schedule an appointment. To the best of my knowledge, embassies are remains closed till end of March 2021.

Try booking vac in different city if slots are still available. It worked for me.

Feb end for interview. When I booked, there were few slots available by end of Feb.
For Vac, I had to take slot mid Feb at Hyd. Only then I was able to see interview slots.

I am not sure but I guess I booked on the same day as slots opened. I booked on Jan 13th around 5 pm IST. By the time I visited website there were only 2 to 3 slots per day for Feb ending.

smohapatra_24@ Was you appoint for L1 Internview waived. I am trying to book appointment for L1 renewal at chennai consulate however for some reason it shows I am interview waiver eligible. In the appointment email also there are dropbox instructions. However L1 are not waiver approved. Has anyone encountered similar issue?

Hi All, still waiting to get a VAC and Consulate appointment date. It seems to be a luck factor to get an early date. But meanwhile, I wanted to know that I am not working currently with the firm that is sponsoring my L1B. Is there any way to present myself at the interview that would justify me still applying for it?
