Can my l-2 get extended till my husband's i-94????

Here is my scenario.

Am working here in Michigan on L-2. My husband's L-1 visa is getting expired on September 2010 and he has his I-94 till March 2011. My L-2 is only till September 2010 and my I-94 is also till sept, same as my visa.

I am not sure if my husband's company would file his papers for an extension bcoz the company, now is been taken over by some other company and everything now, its not the same as before. As i wanted to stay with my husband till his I-94 expires, (he has a valid I-94), his company has filed for an extension and am waiting for the result, hoping that i ll get one.

All i wanted to know is.. in this scenario, is it possible for me to get an extension??????????? Because my EAD is also till sept 2010.

Am really worried here, waiting for the result.. bcoz i want to stay with my husband for some more time People with similar cases, please share with me... what happened to you.. or if i have a chance of getting my stay extended.

If your husband's employer has already filed an L1 extension (individual?), then based on the pending petition, you can file your L2 & EAD extension. Read the instructions on form I-539.

Am not sure if the company is going to file for my husband's extension and its getting expired by sept 2010. Am trying to stay here till my husband's I-94, that is why they have filed for my extension. Bcoz my visa is only till sept 2010.. Hope i din confuse you.
