  • Spouse traveling to US on L2 (1st entry), I'm (primary) already in US on L1, problem?

Hi, I'm (Primary) in the US on L1 from last 1 year, my family could not join me due to the pandemic, now they are planning to travel on L2 (1st entry) while I'm in the US. Will it be an issue at the port of entry? They will be carrying the relevant docs like my A). I-797 Notice of Action, Approval Notice, B). I-94, C). Copy of my L1 Visa D). My pay stub for the last 5 months, E) Employment verification letter from my employer. They have traveled to the US on multiple occasions in the past on B1/B2. Please advise.

If your spouse visa is issued recently , it will have the NIE wording and you shouldn't be worried

If your spouse has the visa before the Presidential proclamations, be prepared to answer more questions. Your documents are suffice

However if you have the chance and luxury, I would personally avoid travelling till 31 March. If not atleast see till Jan 29 where proclamations are rumored to be lifted off by Biden

Thanks, Krish. Please refer to above link. My wife & kids had a valid VISA before the proclamation of the PP.
