L1 visa appoint dropbox eligible.

I am trying to book appointment for L1 blanket renewal at chennai consulate however for some reason it shows I am interview waiver eligible. In the appointment email also there are dropbox instructions. However L1 renewals are not waiver eligible in general. Has anyone encountered similar issue?

Did you filed for your L1 petition extension while in USA? Is the extension approved? If yes, then you are not eligible for dropbox, since your initial petition was blanket & now it is individual.
