L1b for husband and wife

Hello,

My wife and I work for the same company. I have applied for l1b visa separately as my wife would try for her individual visa later after 2 months

We expect some questions in the interview on why spouse is not accompanying.

Please can someone help on how to handle this. Going as dependent would mean one of us quit our job and wait for ead. Going on 2 individual visas I am not sure is taken well.

No, they don't care about it for L visas.

Nothing need to be done from your side. Though when your wife goes for visa after you, she need to carry copy of all your documents to show that you are in USA legally.
