L2 EAD Query

Hello, Thanks for helping in Advance,

I have one query my husband visa L1B going to expire on May 31st 2021 and the company where he (my husband) working have already proceed to file Visa external without premium file this month (January) and I am on L2 Visa and my EAD also going to expire on the same date (May 31st 2021) i am worry when is the right time should i apply for my EAD renewal? do i have to wait for the Visa extension approval or when is the right time to apply for EAD Renewal kindly guide. Thanks Again!

You should have filed all together and spend money if possible for premium out of ur pockets!

You should have applied for your EAD by now.

The EAD and L2 Visas are currently taking 8-10 months. Premium processing is only available for the L1 Visa holder. My wife and I just found this out...Her L1 was renewed with premium processing but my L2 is not. I am hoping it won't take that long but the lawyer said to expect it.

Hi,

I have a question for L2 EAD and then conversion to L1B. If say, I worked for 2 years with L2 EAD and then I converted to L1B visa. Do I get 5 years of L1 visa or it will be 5-2 = 3years of L1B?
