Location change on L1 Visa (Validity)

I transferred from India to USA on L1 visa. Due to some family emergency, I have to return back to India for some time (4-5 months) and I need to shift my payroll back to my home country, since I am changing my work location. I am going to work for same company and same business unit (same team) in India. Would my L1 visa be revoked since I changed my work location? Can I go back to USA on the same visa after 4-5 months or do I need to apply for a new L1 visa?

The Work visa L1 is applied by your employer. Depending on the validity of the visa you could travel back for work, assuming it's authorised by your employer. If not then a new visa would be needed.

You can reuse that visa, since you haven't really changed the parent employer company.
