My last L1B renewal process in 2019 was a real ordeal given US Border services stopped accepting re-applications (Don't EVER call them renewals, shouted one officer at me smh) at Pearson in early 2019. Ended up taking a YYZ>YUL> LGA flight just to submit the paperwork, on advice of my lawyer, to the Montreal border services offices in transit to NYC - made that flight with literally 2 days to spare .
so my question is, does anyone know if they are still refusing to take re-applications for L1's at Pearson?
