L1a March 2020 issued

Dear All,

our approval of L1a was initially done on our 797 in March 2020. We have not been able to get a visa stamp due to proclamations. We still have not got our visa stamp and I only see us getting this later in the year. By the time we arrive in the USA we will have 1 year of the 3 years left. How does this affect us and any possible change of status to GC etc. What options do we have.

Its just delaying your joining with the USA company, you'll still be able to spend 7 years in USA on your L1A visa.

No impact on your GC process, except the delay.
