Can L2 dependent with valid SSN work?

I need your ideas in this case,

My spouse was working in US with L1 and valid SSN ... after our marriage she quitted and got her L2 visa. My doubt is whether she can continue work with L2 and SSN she got during L1 time period or she has get EAD?
