Currently i am on L1B and completing 5 years in Nov2010(My I94 until March 2011).However the L1A conversionfiled only on August 1st.
Now the petition is filed and with so many rejections happening(one of the rejections was with reason that the L1A conversion not filed 6 months prior to L1B expiry) i was adviced to goto India and get the stamping done in India.

Questions
-Is it possible to withdraw the petition filed to USCIS for L1B-L1A conversion.
-If possible to withdraw the petition how early i have to goto india to get L1A done?. Can i wait until my 60 months
completion or i have to go asap.
-Lets say if i wish not to withdraw the petition and if i get the extension gets rejected can i goto india for L1A stamping.
-Please give your suggestion on what would be better option i can opt for given the above situation.

- You have to leave US by I-94 expiry date. (Seems you got wrong I-94 date, as you said your 5-yr period expiry is before I-94's)

- There are no options: If L1A extn is approved, you'll stay in US. Else you've to leave US and reenter on new visa. right?
