I have a L1 Visa and want to extent my valid date, my current visa will
be expire in Nov and I may stay in the US after Nov 2010, so I want to
extent my Visa. Could you advise what material that I need to prepare?
What exact form(s) are needed to fill and submit to government for
    approval.

I am trying to find those information from internet but I did not find.

I am appreciated if you can help on this.

You need to actually ask your company to file your L1 extension.

      L1A Conversion

      Hi,

I am on L1B visa and filed for extension and L1A conversion on July 31. Received receipt # on Aug 02, 2010. Till now no response or no change in the status other than "Acceptance".

Can you please whether there is still a chance of getting RFE or its a good sign towards approval?

I am worried since its 12th day and no response from USCIS.

Application received by USCIS on July 31
Receipt # received on Aug 02

        L1A Conversion

I told, my employer already filed L1A conversion and the application was received by USCIS on July 31 and received the receipt # on August 02.

My question is, since its been 10th day there is no change in the status and the status shows "Acceptance" .

Will there be a still a chance of getting RFE or its a good towards approval status..so for no RFE..

USCIS takes anywhere between 2-3 months to process your application. By the time the application is taken for processing, if they need any additional document then they will send you an RFE. Unless you file your application in premium processing you won't get a response in such short period. You can change it to premium (additional $1000) anytime and you will get the decision within 15 days.
