Question on L2 visa

Hi,

I am a L1 visa holder and i have two questions related to L2 visa

1) Is it necessary to change the marital status in mine or my wife's passport?
2) Is it necessary to have wedding photos with customs? My marriage is registered under special marriage act and we just signed it infront of registrar since we are against customs and all. So what shall we do in that case?

Please help me by answering these two questions as soon as possible
