  • L2 application after L1 Denial

    Hi,
My L1B individual was denied by USCIS last week.
My wife is already working in US with L1B. Will there be a problem if I apply for L2 now (provided my L1B denial) ?

    Rgds,
    Kan

No. L1 denial should not impact when you apply for any other type of visa, provided the reason for denial is not you (Example: The visa was denied because you were prosecuted for a criminal offense etc).

      Thanks

      Thanks for the info.

I am currently working in a 'X' software company. I will be opting for Loss of pay and apply for L2.
While filling the form DS160, its mandated to fill in my current employment details. If I provide them, will this affect my possibility of getting L2 (since I have a job in India) ?

      Rgds,
      Kan

For a dependent visa, your job doesn't matter. If you are not working, then you can mention that in DS-160.
