Hi Guys,
My husband is in L1 and I am in L2 and have EAD. Our I-94 expires on 09/24. Mean while my EAD is expiring on Aug 18. But our husband's company said we can file all together. So we filed for EAD, L1 and L2 extn in June thro premium processing. Summary is below
I-94 expires : 09/24
Applied for L1 L2 EAD Extension: June
L1 RFE Received: July
L1 RFE Responded: July
EAD check cashed: 07/27
L1 approved: Aug 2
L2 & EAD same receipt number: Still in initial review
EAD Service request Raised: 08/10
I have the below questions.
1. Can anyone have same EAC number for L2 extn and EAD.
2. Will I have biometrics appointment for my EAD? When I asked Customer Support at USCIS, they said I might need one coz the biometrics is valid only for 15 months. I had mine initially taken in 2008. But i went to India for vacation and came back to US in Nov 2009, can USCIS use that for EAD extn and not call me biometrics.
2. Why USCIS have not extended my EAD till Sep 2010 and waiting for my new L2 approval?
3. I created a service request on 8/10. I did not get any email. I did not check the spam folder and deleted it. Will everyone get an email when they create Service Request?
4. Can I schedule an info pass appointment and talk to an officer. when I try to book an infopass appt USCIS has an option only for those who has waited for 90 days. But can I still book an apt and go there and talk to them?
