    L1 Visa costs for employee

    Hi all,

    can you help me understand who pays the fees for the L1B visa? Is it legal for the employer to ask me to pay for the lawyer?

    It is the responsibility of the employer. Either transferring company could pay most often being the petitioner.

      It depends, your employer should pay the USCIS fees, but to opt for an lawyer or not, is totally optional & so is who pays for the lawyer fee.
