  • L1A Blanket Rejected and Applying L1B Individual

I have attended the L1A Blanket interview by 05-AUG-2010 and its rejected due to the lack of Project Management experience and the VO officer asked me to apply either L1B or H1B

Now my employer is going to file a L1B Individual petition. They are not intrested to file H1B.

Is there any chance to reject the petition by USCIS?

Even If the petition is approved, Is there any chance VO officer to reject the L1B Individual VISA?

Note: My L1B Blanket visa expired by the end of the July month.
I have already stayed in US for 20 months using my L1B Blanket visa

Rejection of one visa type will not have any impact on another as long as the reason for rejection is not you. Whether your L1B individual will be approved by USCIS or whether your L1B individual visa stamping will be successful or not cannot be predicted. As long as you submit all the required documents and if you have the required skills for the job, you have nothing to worry about.

      Thanks, shervin.

      I have one more question..

If my L1B individual petition is approved, the also is it possible to reject the VISA?

Possible. Petition approval doesn't guarentee you the visa approval.
