L1 appointment in Canada

Hello

Would anyone know if an L1 B appointment can be scheduled outside your home country. I am an Indian National and a Permanent Resident of Canada. I am employed with a US based company in India and trying to move to the US office under an L1 B visa. Can I schedule my L1 B Visa appointment with a US embassy in Canada?

Certainly, you can get USA visa from anywhere outside USA - Home country is "preferred" but not required - as the officers in that country are well knows to local languages & rituals (for example: Canadian VO probably doesn't know about your Aadhar card).
