L1B extension Premium Processing - What happens to L2 and EAD

Hello Gurus,

I am having L1B visa and it's expiring on 8/22/2021. My employer has filed for premium processing this week and it is also included L2 and EAD in the same application.

My question is, if my L1B is approved, will USCIS approve L2 and EAD at the same time or how the process goes. This is mainly considering the cancelled bio-matric for L2 visa as a new update.

Earlier it use to get approve at the same time, but recently that was not the case.

Biometrics is no more required for L2, but its too early to say anything about getting L2/EAD approvals at the same time as L1.

Thanks Libra for your response. I have a quick additional question.

In my case, when does the timer start for EAD (I mean waiting period). Will that be after my approval of L1B or will it be after receiving receipt # for my L1B.
