Job responsibilities change during GC process

My husband is on L1A visa. Our I485 is under process for AOS. He is willing to change his team within same organization (same employer). Overall responsibilities wont be change a lot.
Is it advisable to take a new role under this condition?

As long as your organization, roles & responsibilities are same or higher, the team really doesn't make any difference.

People join & leave the organization - it doesn't impact your GC processing.

If you are totally changing your role & responsibilities (moving from Project manager to Engineering profile) - then it will be an issue
