Query in getting an SSN

I am on a L1B Blanket visa.

I applied for SSN number. The SSN office say that there is a problem with my immigration details and the homeland security is having your visa type as C1 instead of L1.

How can I get this resolved. Anyone who have had this issues please help me to get this resolved.

Go to the nearby CBP post or the same airport (your POE) and they should be able to help you.
