L2 EAD renewal

hi, i have recently moved from L1B to L1A, my wife's earlier EAD has expired so she has to apply for a new one. Will it be a renewal application (as earlier she had EAD under L1B) or a fresh one (as visa category has changed )

Hi,
L1B to L1A will be considered as change of status. But L2 is remain same status. So, you will need to file L2 as extension with new supporting documents.
