L1A visa in US, director in home country

If I am on L1A visa in US, can I continue to be a director of a of my company at my home country (UK)?

the responsibilities include performing reasonable management activity of running projects. I am mostly based in US but travel often to UK to manage business.

will this affect my current L1A status?

the domain of work on L1A visa and Director of company at home is relatively similar (mgmt)
