  • Working remotely while on L1 visa

I am planning to apply for a transfer to the US office of my company through L1B visa. I am joining a California based team, but I will live in New York with my extended family. My employer is okay with this as they allow remote working from within the US at least in states where they are registered.

But is this going to be a problem with the visa application? Is this information of where I plan to live to be given during L1 visa application or is it asked by the consular officer?
    Thanks

For L1A client location or work location doesn't impact your visa application.

Is it the same for L1B as well?
