Recent L1A Interview Experience

Hi,

Just wanted to know if anybody appeared for L1A visa interview recently and how was the experience.
Also, do we need to submit NIE application before appearing for the interview ?

Hi,
If you are seeking for NIE approval, you will need to provide NIE letter that you can get from Employer/ Client. When you go for Interview, Officer may ask the letter or they will determine through Interview whether you are eligible for NIE.
But, It all will be happened during Interview not before.

vaibhav384 , I was just asked about which company I will be joining, end client, my designation, highest qualification, duration of same, which year it got completed, college name, how much experience I have in my domain or for work which I am going to US and for how long I have been married.
Officer noticed my 8 year old son was curious to talk and hence asked him if he wanted to say something. My son said Good morning and then officer asked in a friendly manner if he was excited to go to US, which city/ state he will be going go to, how ols is he. Then officer himself told about Grade he will be joining.

After a brief pause, officer said Visa is approved and he has approved NIE too.

I was not asked for a single document during interview.
