Hi,
My parents have received their L1 and L2 visas under the blanket petition. Their I-129S mentions the US employer name correctly (company A) however their visas mention company name B. A and B were actually the same company (called C) until a few years ago when they split. Will this pose a problem at the POE on the first or subsequent entry? The lawyers are checking and frankly I am mystified why it seems so complicated - it seems to be a simple typo so should be easily corrected by the consulate, right? Any inputs?
They received their visas from the consulate in Chennai, India. Do you suggest waiting for the lawyers to revert, directly going to the consulate to get it fixed or fly to the US anyways given that the I-129S is correct. Or anything else?
Thanks,
Ansh
