L1-A Visa Process

Hi,

Can someone confirm if this is the correct L1-A application process?

1. Lodge Form I-129 visa petition to USCIS.
2. Submit DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa Application online.
3. Schedule consulate interview.

I understand USCIS approval can take anywhere from 2 weeks (priority processing) to 6 months (regular processing).

How long does the DS-160 take or is this time frame the tim speed test e it takes to secure an interview? For example, if an interview is schedule in 3 weeks then this is the DS-160 time frame?

Hi,
Here is the process of L1.
1. File I-129 petition with USCIS.
2. Get Approved petition
3. Fill DS 160 form and submit through Online
4. Make visa fees.
5. Schedule an appointment with consulate/ Embassy.

How long does the DS-160 take or is this time frame the time it takes to secure an interview? For example, if an interview is schedule in 3 weeks then this is the DS-160 time frame?
Answer: DS 160 form is Online form. You can complete filing and submit the form as soon as you finish all the pages. The DS 160 form is valid for 30 days from the day you start completing it.
Is the visa approved/rejected during the interview or is this done after?
Answer: There will have scrutinize in three places. 1. Petition filling with USCIS. 2. Visa Interview at consulate/ embassy. 3. CBP verification at the time of port of entry.
