Hi,
I had resigned my (L1B) job on 1st week of August and told my company that my last date will be Aug 31st. So I sent H4 papers and USCIS received it on Aug 18th and I got the receipt notice on Aug 31st in mail and receipt date is 25th Aug.
Meanwhile, my clients asked me to extend for 2 weeks and my last working day was 15th September. I was thinking it will take more than a month or two for my H4 to get approved. But yesterday I got my H4 approval effective from 15th September.
On 15th I had worked on L1B. Now, H4 is effective on 15th Sep. what are my options?
1. I am not sure if my company will make my last working day as 14th. They might have already sent some notification to USCIS that I had parted on 15th. I can try but not positive about this.
2. Can I request USCIS to change it from 16th Sep. If so, what form should I send and what reason will I give?
