L1 expires in one month before travelling to usa

Hi,
I need to travel to usa in october first week and my l1 expires in nov first week.

Is there a possiblity of getting an extended I94 beyond the expiry of visa for an year or so if I travel just 25 days prior to my visa expiry. I wont be able to get a new visa processed before my travel date.
Kindly advise , if its feasible to travel in the current scenario with hope of getting atleast one year of I 94.

That totally depends on the immigration officer that you meet at the POE. Some officers tend to give you an I-94 only till the visa expiry date or passport expiry date (If they expire before the petition). In such case, you will have to apply your L1 extension immediately upon entering U.S. But most of the time, your I-94 will be issued based on the expiry date of the petition.
