Hello All,

Can a person work on EAD even after the primary candidate on L1 left the company and his L1 is no longer valid. I am talking about EAD which approved on L2 visa.

I am on L1 now. After my spouse got EAD and start working on EAD, what happens to her EAD if i resign with my current employer and start on H1. Can she still work on EAD? Please assist.

>>> No. L2 EAD is valid only till the primary L1 holder maintains the valid L1 status. If L1 goes out of status, so does L2 and the employment on that EAD becomes illegal.
