L1A Blanket Visa - Few clarification on reportees

Hi All,

I have been asked to apply for L1A Blanket by my organization. However I wanted to get a clarification on the number of reportees needed. Would be great if someone can please answer or suggest the minimum number of reportees required in US to qualify as L1A . Current role in india is also managerial with 20+ people reporting.

Hi Member,
Per my knowledge, there is no specific number of subordinates required for L1 qualification.
I refer below USCIS guidance and I make sure the same.
"Managerial capacity generally refers to the ability of the employee to supervise and control the work of professional employees and to manage the organization, or a department, subdivision, function, or component of the organization. It may also refer to the employee’s ability to manage an essential function of the organization at a high level, without direct supervision of others"

Though we are eligible for L1A as a manager, what if L1A is rejected when we apply for the first time. Can we apply for L1B immediately. Please suggest.
