L2 First timer and L2 Renewal applying together

Hi,

I am 29 yr old applying for L2 the first time. My kid (5 yr) was already on L2 before and has to apply for L2 visa appointment stamping along with me. In this case, is he eligible for a interview waiver? How do I process his Visa appointment?
1. Should I click Yes/No for the below question?
2. Should I apply for his visa interview along with me or not?
3. If I dont do it along with me, will it take different times for us to receive our visa stamped after we are done with our individual visa interviews?

1. Should I click Yes/No for the below question?
Answer: You have a Answer in the page itself. It is saying, "If any Individual, a family member or a group member, is not eligible under the renewal criteria it is advisable to remove the individual, a dependent from the family or group before proceeding to schedule the appointment".
And what my understanding is, the question is for primary applicant. So the member you are going to add along with you is not for this question.
2. Should I apply for his visa interview along with me or not?
